The aircraft, on a cargo flight to Lagos' Murtalah Mohammed Airport, collided with construction equipment after being cleared to land on closed runway 19R. As the aircraft was rolling out, the main landing gear impacted several construction vehicles parked on the runway, which was closed according to NOTAMs in effect. The aircraft departed the runway, tearing off at least one wing. The flight crew escaped with minor injuries.
