The aircraft crashed onto a river bank after being struck by lightning while on
approach to Wuhan Airport. Seven workers installing generators on a boat were
killed when wreckage of the aircraft impacted the boat. The aircraft had circled
Wuhan Airport for 30 minutes as heavy thunderstorms passed through the area.
