| The aircraft (TC-ONP), on a scheduled passenger flight to Maastricht, continuing to Dalaman, overran runway 23 during a rejected takeoff attempt at approximately 9:20am local time. The MD-88 skidded approximately 50 meters beyond the runway threshold, impacting the runway approach lighting system as it slowed to a stop. 4 passengers were treated at the scene for minor injuries. |
