| The aircraft [SU-ZCF], on a chartered passenger flight from Sharm el-Sheikh to Cairo, continuing to Paris, crashed into the Red Sea shortly after takeoff from Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport. According to officials in Cairo, the aircraft disappeared from radar at 4:44am local time, and wreckage was found about 9 miles south of the airport shortly thereafter. |
