The aircraft [N586P], on a scheduled cargo flight from Memphis, Tennessee under contract to DHL Cargo, crashed short of runway 36R at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport in Hebron, Kentucky. Shortly before the accident, the Captain reported that the aircraft was experiencing 'low power.' The aircraft impacted the ground approximately 1 nautical mile short of the runway, breaking up and coming to rest on the sixth fairway of the World of Sports golf complex adjacent to the airport. The First Officer suffered fatal injuries in the crash; the Captain sustained minor injuries.
