Preliminary: Approximately 35 minutes before its scheduled departure time, fire broke out aboard Thai Airways flight TG114, scheduled to fly from Bangkok's Don Muang International Airport to the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai. Newly-elected Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who was scheduled to be aboard the flight, was uninjured. Authorities said that a bombing could not be ruled out.
