The aircraft crash-landed on runway
16 at the Pensacola Regional Airport in Florida. While making the transition
from the ILS 16 approach, to landing, the Captain delayed the flare, resulting
in a nosewheel-first landing, and a bounce. The subsequent impact from the
second touchdown caused the fuselage to break at a point just aft of the
wings.
