While attempting takeoff from runway 25R at Los Angeles International Airport, two tires failed and the crew was forced to abort the takeoff. The aircraft [N68045] departed the right side of the runway, the landing gear collapsed, and the aircraft slid some 600 feet from the runway and came to rest.
