| The aircraft [N714CK] crashed into a field approximately 3nm from the Bogota Eldorado International Airport shortly after takeoff on a scheduled cargo flight to Miami. Initial statements from the Colombian government indicate that the aircraft suffered some sort of engine trouble immediately after takeoff. Three people on the ground were killed when the freighter impacted their home; all 8 crewmembers aboard the aircraft were reportedly rescued after the accident. |
