The aircraft suffered a main landing
gear bogie failure while landing at Gerona in rainy weather. The aircraft
slid to a stop to the right side of the runway, and all passengers were safely
evacuated. One passenger died several days later of a heart attack, but the
death could not conclusively be linked to the accident.
