The aircraft [9N-AFR], operating on a tourist flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, crashed into a mountain at an altitude of 4,600 feet while on approach to Pokhara's Airport at approximately 10:15am local time (0415 GMT). Air traffic controllers reportedly lost contact with the aircraft near Kristi Nachne Chour (village), located approximately 3 miles southwest of the Pokhara Airport. Weather at the time of the accident was poor, with low cloud, mist, and fog in the area.
