| Accident Description: | Shortly after takeoff the flight crew reported an explosion and that they were attempting to return to Barbados. Witnesses reported that the aircraft, trailing smoke, crashed into the Atlantic Ocean while in a turn. The detonation of a bomb in the cargo hold led to a fire which led to the incapacitation of the crew and a loss of control. |
