Accident Description:Approximately 27 minutes before its scheduled departure time, at 2:48pm local time, fire broke out aboard Flight TG114, which was scheduled to fly from Bangkok's Don Muang International Airport to the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai. The fire was extinguished within an hour. Traces of C-4, a powerful explosive, were found in the wreckage, but it is unclear whether these traces were related to the explosion aboard the aircraft. Newly-elected Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who was scheduled to be aboard the flight, was uninjured.
