| Accident Description: | The aircraft disappeared from radar screens at 2:15am local time while on approach to Sochi after a scheduled flight from the Armenian capital of Yerevan. Wreckage from the jetliner was discovered in the Black Sea about 3 miles off the Russian coast several hours later. Weather at the time of the accident was poor. |
